RARE EXPERIENCES
How much can the glass affect the wine tasting experience?
“Unbelievably!” claims Riedel, the most famous & expensive wine glass producer in the world… and you’ll be surprised how right this is!
Four Vlassides wines, the whites Sauvignon Blanc & Alates and the reds Oroman & Cabernet Sauvignon, are served in different wine glasses.
The individual shapes of the Riedel glasses unveil a completely distinct aspect of the wine’s character. A comparative tasting that will amaze you!
The demanding procedure is carried out by specialized personnel of the Winery.
The tour includes a visit to the privately owned vineyard of the Vlassides estate, where many grape varieties are cultivated. Some give their fruits to already known and branded wines and some are cultivated experimentally, and are evaluated based on their adjustment to the local microclimate.
A guided tour in the Winery premises follows. The visitors can choose their favorite wine and enjoy it accompanied by cheese and cold cuts.
The rare Riedel glasses can be purchased from the Winery’s shop upon completion of the tasting.

A challenging experience for all senses! Blind tasting of 4 different wines.
How many can you recognize?
They say that when we lack one sense, the others become sharper. This is exactly the case during a blind tasting. Smell and taste, in the absence of sight, lead us to new paths of recognition and discovery.
Eye masks, black glasses and the journey begins. We taste blind 4 wines and have to discover which is which! We listen, we try, we describe, we compare, we learn.
We enjoy our favorite wine accompanied by matching cheeses and cold cuts.
A visit to the vineyard of the Vlassides estate is included, as well as a guided tour to the winemaking and aging process areas.
This particular experience can be developed into an excellent family, friends’ or corporate challenging game!

Our researches and experimentations include tastings from rare varieties, different and unusual vinifications and playful wine ageing methods. With this tasting you have the chance to taste exclusive wines which are not available in the market.

OLD VINTAGES
The vertical tasting of a red wine from three different varieties is a one-of-a-kind experience. You can watch through your own glass the maturity of the wine and notice each year’s special characteristics. Enjoy some great red wines with this tasting.
Tasting of 3 different vintage Shiraz or Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
This vertical tasting is at €30 per person. Available for 4 persons or more.
An optional, short guided tour to the winery
is also available with the above tastings, upon request.

Our basic tour, for those who love wine and want to quickly and easily learn everything about it.
It includes a detailed presentation of the wine production process, from the vine to the tanks and barrels. You can combine the tour with tasting 4 Vlassides wines of current vintage.

HOW TO FIND US
Directions from Paphos and Limassol to Vlassides Winery
Driving on the Limassol–Paphos highway, towards Paphos, follow the A6 road sign towards Erimi and Kantou.
Drive straight past Kantou, Souni-Zanakia and Kivides, towards Ayios Amvrosios village.
On reaching Ayios Amvrosios village, continue to drive on the main road, until you see the sign for Vouni and Kilani.
Turn right and follow the road past Vouni village.
Approximately 1.5 km past Vouni you will see a Vlassides Winery sign on your right hand side.
Turn right down the hill towards the vineyards and Vlassides Winery is 500 meters on your right.
Directions from Limassol to Vlassides Winery
Follow the B8 road from Limassol towards Platres and Troodos.
Before Saittas village turn left towards Pera Pedi. Drive straight until you get into the village of Pera Pedi.
Shortly before arriving at the center of the village turn left at the signpost towards Ayia Mavri and Kilani.
Drive straight past Ayia Mavri and Kilani village and follow the sign towards Vouni.
Follow this road for approximately 1,5 km until you see a Vlassides Winery sign on your right.
Turn left down the hill towards the vineyards and Vlassides Winery is 500 meters on your right.
