RARE EXPERIENCES
How much can the glass affect the wine tasting experience?
“More than you can imagine!” claims Riedel, the world’s most famous and expensive wine glass company.
At Vlassides Winery, you’ll have the opportunity to discover the answer for yourself through the pioneering tasting experience, Our Wines @ RIEDEL.
In this comparative tasting, four of our wines—the white Sauvignon blanc & Alátes and the red Όroman & Cabernet Sauvignon—are each served in a different glass from the house of Riedel. Under the guidance of a specialised sommelier, you’ll be amazed to discover how the distinctive shape of each glass unfolds an entirely different aspect of the wine’s character.
The experience begins with a visit to the estate’s private vineyard, where a wide variety of grapes are cultivated. You will see both the varieties we use for our well-known wines, as well as experimental crops that we monitor for their acclimatisation to the local microclimate. A detailed guided tour of the winery’s facilities follows, before you reach the culmination of the tasting.
After the tasting, you can choose your favourite wine to enjoy, accompanied by cheeses and cured meats. Finally, those who wish can purchase the renowned Riedel glasses directly from the winery.

The duration of the tour and tasting is approximately 2 hours.
The cost is €220 for groups of up to 4 people.

A challenging experience for all senses! A unique blind tasting of 4 different wines.
How many wines can you recognise without the help of sight?
They say that when one sense is absent, the others are heightened. This is precisely what happens during ‘The Blind Tasting Challenge’, where the senses of smell and taste, in the absence of sight, lead us to new paths of recognition and discovery. Wearing masks and using black glasses, we blindly taste four wines with the aim of identifying them.
Here, you will listen, taste, describe, compare and learn, fully utilising your senses. The experience can also be a thrilling challenge game with your family, friends, or colleagues.
The tasting concludes with the selection of your favourite wine, which you can enjoy accompanied by cheeses and cold meats. An additional visit to the Vlassides estate vineyard is also included, as well as a guided tour of the winemaking and ageing facilities.

GUIDED TOUR
Our extended tour, for those who love wine and want to quickly and easily learn everything about it.
It includes a detailed presentation of the wine production process, from the vine to the tanks and barrels.

Pre-booking is required at least 1 day before the visit.
The duration of the whole experience is 30 minutes.

HOW TO FIND US
Directions from Paphos and Limassol to Vlassides Winery
Driving on the Limassol–Paphos highway, towards Paphos, follow the A6 road sign towards Erimi and Kantou.
Drive straight past Kantou, Souni-Zanakia and Kivides, towards Ayios Amvrosios village.
On reaching Ayios Amvrosios village, continue to drive on the main road, until you see the sign for Vouni and Kilani.
Turn right and follow the road past Vouni village.
Approximately 1.5 km past Vouni you will see a Vlassides Winery sign on your right hand side.
Turn right down the hill towards the vineyards and Vlassides Winery is 500 meters on your right.
Directions from Limassol to Vlassides Winery
Follow the B8 road from Limassol towards Platres and Troodos.
Before Saittas village turn left towards Pera Pedi. Drive straight until you get into the village of Pera Pedi.
Shortly before arriving at the center of the village turn left at the signpost towards Ayia Mavri and Koilani.
Drive straight past Ayia Mavri and Koilani village and follow the sign towards Vouni.
Follow this road for approximately 1,5 km until you see a Vlassides Winery sign on your right.
Turn left down the hill towards the vineyards and Vlassides Winery is 500 meters on your right.
