Xynisteri & Yiannoudi at Decanter

17th International Wine Competition Decanter Word Wine Awards

Our brand new wines have proven their worth at this year’s Decanter World Wine Awards held in London in August. Results were announced on Tuesday 22/09/2020.

According to the Decanter’s website, “Now in its 17th year, the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) is the world’s largest and most influential wine competition. Judged by the top wine experts from around the globe, the DWWA is trusted internationally for its rigorous judging process.”

We participated in the 17th edition of the competition with Όroman and Alάtes, our two new labels which were first released in early 2020. The indigenous varieties of our small island -Xynisteri and Yiannoudi- brought home a silver and a bronze medal as judges tasted their value.
