Food & Wine Pairing Event
Tsiakkas, Vlassides and Zambartas Wineries organized a special wine and food pairing weekend, on the 20th and 21st of June 2020.
At each winery the visitors had the opportunity to taste and purchase exclusive wines of limited production that are not available in the market. The wines were accompanied by selected local delicacies, that were prepared specially using Cypriot ingredients as a base, to match the flavours of each one of the wines individually.
Vlassides Winery served six wines in the following order:
- EDDIAL SPARKLING WINE – 2017
- DOKIMI B3 XYNSITERI – 2018
- ALΆTES – 2018
- ΌROMAN – 2017
- DOKIMI A2 AGIORGITIKO – 2015
- DOKIMI B1 SAUVIGNON BLANC LATE HARVEST – 2015
We advised our guests if they could manage to visit all 3 wineries, since this was a rare and exceptional occasion that would broaden their gastronomic horizons in a fun and educational way. Many of them managed to do so, participating with enthusiasm in this unique food and wine experience. We are really pleased with the delighted feedback we received at the end of the event and we hope that soon we would be able to repeat it.
